Four sets of Electrolysis-based H₂O₂ Generation System provided to a Canadian Pulp & Paper Mill

Domtar is a diversified pulp and paper manufacturer group. As a global leader in sustainable pulp and paper production, it mainly produces printing paper, writing paper, packaging paper, and other related products. It operates six mills in Canada, with an annual production capacity of over 2.5 million tons and a workforce of more than 2,100 employees.

Phase Two Chemicals has signed a hydrogen peroxide supply agreement with the client. It will provide four sets of electrochemical hydrogen peroxide production units (1.5 tons per day at 100% concentration each) for the client's first pulp mill, enabling the pulp mill to achieve a daily output of 6 tons of 100% concentration hydrogen peroxide.

By the end of 2024, through the joint efforts of the team, all four units had successfully met the performance commitment and been put into operation.

Alkaline hydrogen peroxide electrolytic generation system (model P1528) utilizes innovative technology to produce highly pure and stable alkaline hydrogen peroxide. Compared to traditional manufacturing systems, electrolysis is safer and more cost-effective, meeting the needs of hydrogen peroxide applications in pulp and paper bleaching and wastewater treatment fields.
